I have a almost 2 year old little boy who would love feeding the ducks during a wonderful spring-time outdoor picnic! I have not seen a local pond or lake with ducks to do this kind of thing. Do you know of one? Can you give me the location? Thank you!!!

Problem deals with feeding them anything. The concept is cute (and even I've been guilty of feeding them in the past) to feed them bread or cracked corn, but it does cause a problem when overdone by all families trying to have a cute and fun time by feeding them. But then the ducks then start to become reliant on people for food.
The best idea I could give would be to go to the Virginia Zoo where it's perfectly fine to feed the roaming animals.
Something a ilttle closer would be the
SPCA Sanctuary and Petting Zoo which does have ducks waiting to be fed.

Too many people doing the same thing winds up with an overgrown duck population, and endless duck poo
everywhere . Honestly...don't feed the ducks. Please.
