What is your favorite month around here, and why? Which month is your least favorite?

...or, do you have a split vote? You can vote multiple times if you think August is the best month in Norfolk, but May is the best month in Williamsburg.

June, July and August. Summer months.

Fall brings cold weather, winter is cold, and spring brings more cold weather and pollen.

Always been a fan of Fall. Especially when you get a nice, breezy day and a chilly night. One of the best feelings on earth is the first night it's chilly enough to pull out your favorite beanie and jacket that have been hiding in the closet all summer. Plus my allergies aren't as bad during the colder months for whatever reason.

Early November would be the peak season for the fall leaves, right? If Hampton Roads is the sort of place where the houses have lots of pumpkins and cornstalks and other such autumn decorations, that would probably be my favorite.

Also June for the tall ships arriving, and maybe March if I can walk around DOG street and see all the baby animals tottering about.

I don't think it's too bad unless you're really sensitive. I've heard that Richmond is actually worse than HR. I sometimes get affected by pollen when everything is blooming during spring, though.

Interesting that August is the favorite month. Usually August gets dissed for being too hot and buggy--glad to hear it's nice in HR. Or maybe it's hot, but it's fun with lots of events? What is it about August that makes it a favorite?

Now that I've got HR on my radar, I've been comparing the weather there every day when I check the weather here (in northern VA). Interestingly, you guys seem to be a few degrees cooler every day. I was expecting the opposite, since you're south of us. Not sure if that's just an unusual thing, or if it will hold true throughout the summer.
