Hi all. We are planning a move to the VA Beach/Chesapeake area soon. My husband is already there due to his job, the kids and I are in Michigan, finishing out the school year and trying to sell the house. I've been reading a lot on here as far as schools, and we thought we were pretty set in hoping to move to Chesapeake and the Hickory School District. Then my husband said something yesterday about researching VA Beach schools and their honors program. Does that sound familiar to any of you? Is it a specific school or is it just the honor program within the individual schools? My kids are currently in 4th, 1st and preschool and are in a *great* Montessori based school, that I am dreading taking them out of, so I am hoping to find an equally good school for them there. I am working with a realtor and will head out there for another visit in April, so we will check things out in person then. Just hoping to learn as much as we can before our next visit. Thanks for your help!

We, VA Beach, have great Montessori schools here too. I'm sure they have them in Chesapeake as well.
