Welcome! The Harrisburg forum doesn't get as chatty as some of the other local forums, but it only takes a few good users to change that.

We had a bunch of posters who advocated for the own sub-forum for Harrisburg, then when it was created they seem to have gone away. Not quite so much talk here as Pittsburgh or NEPA or Syracuse.

I personally advocated for a "South Central PA" sub-forum because I believed an indpendent Harrisburg city sub-forum wouldn't drive enough traffic to remain active and viable (and judging by the crickets chirping in here I was correct). I envisioned this sub-forum covering not only Harrisburg but also York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Gettysburg, Hanover, Chambersburg, and Carlisle. To this day I still feel as if a "South Central PA" sub-forum would have been a much wiser decision rather than just singling out one city of 50,000 which happens to also be the state capital.

I would definitely be in favor of a SCPA forum. The Harrisburg / York / Lancaster areas, including surrounding metros, would be more comparable to what the NEPA forum has.

And more closely corresponding to the TV market too.
