So I did a search for Hawaii Forums and this one seems to be the most popular. My husband, Daughter and I are planning to move to the BI within the next year or two so I'm enjoying reading the threads, but was also hoping to ask about some other things pertaining to our upcoming trip. Is that cool?

You'll find that a lot of restaurants have changed since 2002, especially with the downturn in the economy. But there are still a lot of good ones left. My favorite for watching the sun set is the Kona Inn. And for really fresh fish, I like Bite Me at the Honokohau Harbor and the Kawaihae Grill.
