None of the above! I've never been to Miami, but LA and Vegas, not my cup of tea. I lived in Vegas for 2 years and got burned out, and never cared to go back. LA is too crowded, and I can't say personally about Miami, but friends that live there hate it. I lived in Hawaii a long time, we went to LA for a few days after leaving HAwaii, it was such a shock to the system! I would think that Miami would have the closest weather to Hawaii???
When I was living in Hawaii and California I noticed a lot of Californians moving to Hawaii and Hawaiians moving to California, it does have some sort of resemblance especially if you are along the coast, though L.A. has bad traffic you may look into San Diego or Santa Barbara, it would resemble home, about 5 hours flight away if you get homesick and it's on the mainland so you can always drive to Vegas, San Fran, Oregon, etc.
Those 3 aren't places I'd ever want to live, but I wouldn't live in Honolulu either.
