We used Pacific Air Cargo to ship our dog. We loaded him in LA around midnight and he was in Honolulu at 5:30 am the next day. A much shorter trip than the passenger airlines, if you include the 2 hr checkin before and security ect...
We have a charter dead leg to Hawaii every other month and can take passsenegrs and their pets. The cost to charter our aircarft is about $385,000 (excluding tax) from CA, UT, NV or AZ to HI.
Strike that, the price INCLUDES tax. What a deal!
Wow, what kind of aircraft goes at that rate? The charter schedules I've seen for our GIVs and GV's are usually $5-6k per hour. Do bigger commercial airplanes go for closer to $60k/hour?

take the wings off and we can fit BOTH inside with room to spare.
Looking for any info on people looking to share charters to Hawaii or info on current charters to Hawaii (like more info on Pacific Flights). My husband’s in the military & we will be moving to Oahu in September 2010. We have one 9 year old 40lb. cocker spaniel. We could fly a little sooner (dog’s 120 days up beginning of Aug) or a little later. We’re also flexible about where we fly from (currently on east coast but willing to drive out to west coast). Would greatly appreciate any info, insight, & advice!

If I had that kind of money to charter a plane just for one flight, I'd probably have the dough to buy my own plane.
Time sharing a GS for 20k a year makes more sense.
Oops, when I read the PacificFlights post the first time, I though it said $4000, not $400,000. Military definitely does not pay that well. Guess I'm just looking for anyone looking to share chartered flights then.
do you have any flights to Hawaii in 2001 after May 1?
