I've wondered this. Does anyone who knows about health/medicine have an answer?
Although I have short hair, I get a headache whenever I take a shower but don't dry my hair quickly with a blowdryer. Also, the same goes for going outside and getting my hair wet in the rain, or just walking outside exposed to the cold without a hat (at, or below freezing temperatures).
you mentioned cold several times which is a natural congestion of weather. think of the opposite which is heat. and when its hot all of our sweat and pores open up and the water begins to flow. When it is hot out people are not normally congested. when it is cold outside your muscles and body along with blood vessels and veins tighten to adjust to the cold temperature and circulation, thus you are getting a headache because of the tightening in your body and the lack of blood flow to the brain and that is why your head hurts. The tightening in your body also tightens your blood and when your blood becomes thick it may have trouble traveling to the brain. In the future keep your head warm as it seems to be a sensitive issue within your body. Also, drink more water to stop unwanted sediments in your blood that may block blood flow as well and this will help thin your blood out as well. I hope it helps.
