This sounds like a question you should be asking your doctor, not random people on a food and drink forum. From this post, and ones I've seen you put on the Texas forum, I think you are way over thinking this whole drinking thing.

Why would you want to drink everyday? 2 drinks will eventually turn into 4 and then 6 and then you will find yourself in some serious trouble. How about this, drink your little heart out on your 21st B-day, get smashed and then take it one day at a time. Alcohol can be very dangerous, I certainly wouldn't be planning on drinking it every day.

And the correct and easy answer to that question would be after looking around any drinking place ( Bar, club , tavern) A BIG - "O!"

its common to drink 21 drinks on your 21st birthday. there is no official limit, part of it depends on your own personal tolerance. considering you say that you heard the upper limit is 2, im guessing you have a pretty low tolerance from lack of experience. so i guess part of the answer will depend on where you want to end up at the end of the night; passed out with puke coming out of your mouth and your pants full of dookie, or going to bed mostly sober with no significant hangover in the morning (or somewhere in between, please specify).

Health guidelines from respected organizations such as the U.S. Surgeon General's office say that two drinks a day for men and one drink a day for women should be the limit. Previous comments to the effect that it's common to have 21 drinks on one's 21st birthday are pathetic. It may well be common - among idiots. Depending on how quickly the 21 drinks are consumed (i.e., how close together), it could be life-threatening. Beware of the culture in which heavy drinking is considered normal, as the price many people pay down the road is staggering.

i thought that was funny considering it seems like he never drinks and has a desire to drink every day. he sounds very ambitious!

while drinking 21 drinks in one day may not be wise, its really no big deal. i drank pretty heavily in college and i currently drink very rarely.
