Hopes, the first dosage is 2,000 units, after that I take 1,000 every hour. It was what Linus Pauling recommended, but even before him Adelle Davis (nutritionist) recommended it. I don't take a lot of Vitamin C on a daily basis because I believe it doesn't really work when I did it daily. One year I had bronchitis really bad and kept coming to work with it, and the holistic doctor that I worked for told me to take it this way, so I did, and the next day when I came to work I was well. He also added when it causes diarrhea cut back on dosage.

I used to have allergies really bad, and then I read another famous nutritionists advice, and they went away. I took 500 mg. of panthothenic acid a day with 5 grams of Vitamin C daily. And I did this on a daily basis. I guess in time my body cured itself through this method or even though better eating habits because I don't have any allergies now. I remember back then going to an allergist and having a panel done and being allergic to a lot of things. When I went back later I told him that they were gone due to vitamins, and he agreed that they worked but that he would lose money if he told everyone about them. A month ago I had one done since I have shortness of breath, and I have no allergies. I am now trying to find something to cure my mild asthma that was created from living where we had a large fire-smoke inhalation.

Sinus problems and allergies. Try a Neti Pot. It's been around for thousands of years. For some, it can change your life.

Ah, if I could get my husband to use a Neti pot he would be sinus free for sure. He is at least using a nasal rinse now that helps. I should invest in a Neti and use it myself for just healthy reasons, ah, prevention is the word I want.
