How do you drink your Aloe Juice? How much?

Calcium/magnesium or baking soda...I use both and they work great.

Get a bed with an adjustable base, and raise your head all night. Or use a foam triangle, same idea.

OP here again! Thank God it hasn't increased, but last night, I woke up from a solid sleep, coughing & kind gagging & tasting that acidity in my throat. I had to take a few swallows of water, then laid back down. When I woke in the morning, my throat was not sore, it was normal. But, I'm not liking this! NOw that I think about it, I did eat a little amount at about the 9:00 pm hour...I guess too late to be eating...for me anyway.

Along with not eating some hours before bed another non-medicine hint is to sleep with your upper body elevated, letting gravity assist.
There are foam wedges made especially for this.

I had GERD for several years after a bout with salmonella. It went away when I stopped eating fried foods.

The pillow wedges and antacids help and all, but for it to go, I think it really has to come down to diet. I mean, I don't like passing up hush puppies, onion rings, battered mushrooms, sauteed this or that, and it's not fair, (lol) but I'd rather not have the acid-reflux more.

And honestly, not eating after 3 pm, are you kidding? What time is dinner again?

See a doctor. Its almost certainly time for a prescription for Nexium. Don't be hoodwinked into using only natural remedies. If it is this serious, you need to go the medication route.

If you have reoccurring acid reflex on a regular basis you need a daily medication like Nexium. Sure there are things that can help, but if you really have acid reflux you can fall asleep sitting straight up in a chair and will still get it. The thing to worry about with acid reflux is that acid bathing all through your throat every night. It can cause lesions and even cancer.

I do agree that Gerd probably requires Prilosec, Nexium, Omneprazole, etc but Forever Blue is sounding like some people that need to exhaust other possibilities before being convinced to do what's needed....AND, some people have had the vinegar dosing along with diet work for them.
There's no harm in giving it a few days before resorting to meds that have their own side effects.
There are several choices available OTC and generic Omneprazole is cheaper than the brand names and can be tried before one of the other more expensive 'formulas'.
