What can it mean if someone goes number 2 and it comes out dark and watery? What kind of medicine do doctors give in this case?

All the time or just once? Every few days? Urgency to go? Any diet changes?

Doctors do not give out meds without knowing what the problem and cause are.

Do you mean diarrhea? If its bloody, tests need to be done to see what's going on.

My gastroenterologist has a "stool chart" which shows different shapes and colors of "stool". I just searched google.com for the words stool chart and found many charts under images.*

Also at the drugstore you can buy a kit to test for blood in the stool.

* I also saw a coffee cup with a stool chart on it - I think I will pass getting one of those!
