They have girls (CNAs) that will help you get to the doctor's office. They also have background checks done on them and will be reliable. However, they may charge more for the service, but it's worth it if you want someone you can trust. Call the ones that are anywhere close to you.. tell them your situation and they can send someone to assist.
Usually insurance could possible cover a medical livery service. I know one of the hospitals here actually has a volunteer of livery services where they drive discharged patients home as long as they love in the same town as the hospital. Again could see with the Church. Depending on age can utilize senior service's with your town normally have transportation services set up regarding medical appointments.
Again, the office requires the person to be present during the procedure so suggestions of transport/driving only isn't providing what the OP needs.
This is common in certain procedures not only because of not driving but because they need someone to take control of the person at discharge, no "livery service" is going to accept that responsibility.
