I have been experiencing brain fog and concentration issues as part of my PMS symptoms during these past few months. I cannot concentrate on a specific task and my attention to details is almost inefficient. My focus is almost non-existent (15 minutes maximum per hour). It proves to be a problem at work. Coffee does not help at all. I usually drink it black in the morning and drink decaf the rest of the day. My thinking process get uncharacteristically slow and blurry. My memory gets altered. I can't stand to read more than 3 lines on a piece of paper.
I drink plenty of water but I follow a vegan diet. Hence, I do not eat any processed foods, meet or dairy.
My sleep pattern is alright as I sleep 8 to 9 hours a night. I get slightly tired but I can manage.
I excercise daily (40 minutes per day which includes cardio).
I feel as though I have to schedule my entire life around those symptoms.
Any natural remedies or vitamins I can look into to improve the situation?
I take a B Complex to help with brain fog from other medical conditions. It helps me most of the time.

Are you doing anything for PMS? Just wondering if progesterone may be worth a try.
Best of luck!
No, I'm not.
Thanks, I will look into that. What are the side effects though? I know side effects are very dependent on the person, but I don't want to experience side effects which would make me want to experience full-blown PMS instead.
To be honest, I didn't experience brain fog or concentration issues when I was a teenager. It wasn't until I got mono at 21 that I started experiencing brain fog and focus issues as part of my PMS. I would also experience excruciating pain to the point where I wouldn't be able to move at all. This pain disappeared after a few cycles;, but the brain fog got progressively worse.
Since changing my diet a few months ago, the PMS isn't as bad as it used to, as I don't really feel any discomfort except from this brain fog.
Moderator cut: orphaned reference Might be worth a try!
