At night I seem to be awakened at night by a need to relieve myself. I tend to produce a river and the urine is white. During the day it is normal color. Am I getting type 2 Diabetes?

You don't mention your age or sex but if you are male it could be your prostate. Try taking Saw Palmetto for a month. If it is your prostate you will notice a significant difference.

It wouldn't hurt to get a physical, especially if you are having other symptoms that you think might be related.

Are you overly thirsty? Can't hold your urine after you've quenched (temporarily) your thirst? Craving for sweets? Are you overweight? Have a history of Type II in your family? If yes - then you probably should contact your physician for testing. These were all my symptoms when I was diagnosed with uncontrolled Type II diabetes.

You might be drinking too much tea late in the day, or too much coffee or coca-cola.

Or, if you start eating a lot of protein and fewer carbs, you will pee more.

Also, as you get older, you have to pee more. I wake up almost every night to pee.

There is an quick urine test your doctor can do that may determine the problem. I'd give them a call. It could be something besides diabetes, like a kidney issue.

It could be a UTI as well.

I had that problem while on statin (cholesterol lowering) drugs. Once I quit them, it is normal again.
