Consider Fuch's Dystrophy as well. It makes your vision blurry. You need an opthalmologist.

I have dry eyes. It affects my vision. Sometimes it hurts and is hard to read. It is what it is

I use restasis, gel drops, and have plugs in the ducts.

The dryness srptarted at menopause but became worse with age. I did have LASIK.

And socialized medicine is not the answer to that.

This is not nearly the first time I've heard stuff like this. I've talked to real people down here from Canada, and read of incidents there and in the UK. People unable to get treatment for various conditions because it isn't a 'priority', and worse.

Massive taxes to support a system where the regular people can't get treatment unless 'they' think it's 'important' enough.

Yeah, great.

They have all told me that my eyes are great, I only have 0.50 astigmatism (which is nothing they said). I went to see a regular optometrist (not part of lasik) and they told me your eyes are very dry and that your vision is great! Any prescription they seem to put on me doesnt work the letters are still blurry in the right eye! I been using the restasis for 3 months and I still dont see any results.. I feel like my life is ruined

I used to love reading and I cannot no longer do it without getting horrible headaches and not being able to concentrate because one eye is blurry. Its even noticeable for far.. Please help me.

P.S I dont notice a difference in my right eye from the surgeries..
Have you ever tried genteal gel? It's a gel that you squirt under your bottom eyelid. I get dry eye a lot which causes me to get a corneal erosion. Definitely messes up my vision, but the gel really helps keep things lubricated.

Well I saw lasik again today, and I came in saying that I am tired of this.. Because they cured my dry eyes finally with an upper plug they put a couple days a ago, works well! No more dry eyes! However they didn't seem to really care about the blurry vision in my right eye.. So I got mad and told them if they don't do something I will call a lawyer and bring lasik to court. I than magically got a surgeon who told he was gonna take me case and run tests on it, best thing is he is a specialist in the corneas. Anyway so he dilated my pupils and they looked inside and than he ran a bunch of tests.. He told me that's all he needs for now. He said that for sure that is something wrong with my right eye. He told me one way or another he is gonna fix my eye with a surgery and he said for sure you will have clear vision. He told me he will call me friday or monday for the results of what kind of surgery I need, or he will run more test if needed to see if I need a different surgery, but either way he said hes gonna fix it with a surgery.
