I have a male acquaintance, 73, who has had a pacemaker for five years. He was obese when he received it but has lost a lot of weight I guess from running 5k races.
Is that safe with a pacemaker at his age? He appears to be doing great but I don't know him intimately.
If you have one of the kind that 'revs up" with activity, and your Dr. gives the ok...then sure! Hubby works out with his pacemaker....it gets faster as he gets more active.

I HOPE the Dude has an advanced-pacemaker with auto-defibrillator.
And I hope this Dude has talked to his doctor about this issue.
