My husband used one, and we did just put a couple of 2x4's under the bed to raise it a bit. Now we have adjustable beds. It will help with the GERD (not sure about the sinus). It may take awhile but it will help. The thing I always hated about it is I would tend to "slide" down while sleeping and it would either put my neck in a strange position (stiff neck) or not do any good.

yeah I cant afford an adjustable bed and we did look and husband and I could not agree on one so we have put that off for a while . I hope to get an adjustable bed one day but not right now since we are still planning on retiring in a different state .but for right now the wedge will have to do .

My husband used one for GERD and easier breathing(COPD)
It helped that he could sleep on his back.

These work really well. And they’re cheap.

I can't sleep on a flat surface if I don't want comic-strip-like visible pain bolts shooting from my lower back. I slept on a recliner for a while until my wife told me she'd had enough of sleeping by herself in the bed. So I got a wedge pillow. I'm now back to sleeping in the bed roughly 80% of the time. The wife liked it so much much we got one for her too.

How that might relate to your problems, I don't know. But it sure went a long way toward addressing mine.

I tried a wedge pillow, but gave up on it. I kept sliding down, plus I'm a side sleeper (can't sleep on my back) and you can't do that on the wedge.

What helped me was I went to Home Depot and bought several flat paving stones, about 3 or 4" square and about 1 1/2" thick. I stacked up three on each side of the head of my bed and slid a stack of paving stones under each of the legs at the head of my bed (removed the casters first). That way the head of my bed was lifted about 6".

It worked much better for my GERD than the wedge pillow did, and it was way cheaper than getting an adjustable bed.

I use a wedge pillow, originally for GERD, and I used to slip down. Then I went to a Kohl's super sale and bought a foam side sleeper pillow for about $2.98 (amazing!). It doesn't slip and I tend not to slip as much, either, and I can sleep on my side. I think it does help, even if only a little, with GERD and breathing.

I use one.

My Dw insists that I snore. She has had me try a lot of different things. This wedge seems to make her happy.
