I've had my Sleep Number bed for almost 5 years now. I love it! I have never slept so good. Our favorite part was my husband needs a soft surface and I need a firm surface and with this bed we can have both.

I've always wanted one but lately i've been having doubts. They're just so expensive. I'm glad you like yours. Is it still as flat (without that dip that always happens with other mattresses) as when you first got it?
Does the air technology keep the mattress from doing that?

The only dip is in my husbands side, but his sleep number is 15. My side is still as firm as when I bought it.

O.K. .. interesting thank you. I look forward to a good bed! It makes so much difference considering we spend so much time in/on them.

A SN of 15, wow. Mine is 35 normally. We also have a dual-chamber and we disagree on how firm the bed should be. I am seeing what was mentioned in a previous post; the side cushions are not as firm as they once were. I would imagine that you could buy those separately. The first motor we got had to be replaced within a month and as I remember they handled it well but it didn't show up till the day after they said it would. After going through this someone suggested using the vacuum to add air (duh) to adjust the bed.

I like my bed but hubby is still "out" on it.
