Yes. Was getting an injection of steroids & pain med. into knee joint. Came to wearing an oxygen mask. Doc said she "hit bone with needle." I remember nothing - not being scared, not feeling pain. Felt like a woosie when all was said & done.

Yes. I received 2 shots. Got up from the table and went to the bathroom. I had fainted in the small bathroom blocking the door with my body.
I don't know how long I was on the floor.
I guess I came to. No one had noticed I had disappeared without signing or paying either.
Hit my chin and head pretty hard on the fall down.
That's the only time I've fainted in my life.

I fainted after an endometrial biopsy. I felt like I couldn't breathe laying down, so I started to sit up, the room looked like it was all purple and green sparkles and that was it. My doctor said it was fairly common.

Yes. I was having my bp checked sitting, laying and standing. It was the standing after the laying that got me. One moment everything was fine the next moment I fell flat on my face. That was both disconcerting and embarrassing at the same time.

Not in the doctor but in 'ospital, after I'd had open surgery, tried getting up for the first time. Probably had lost quite a bit of blood and so started to faint after a few steps, they got a chair to stop me hitting the deck so I could recover.

I've fainted a few times (when pregnant) but not in a medical setting.

Me too after that procedure...but I felt it coming and they helped me to lay down. It probably took 20-30 minutes before I felt normal enough to get up and dress.

My daughter (15 at the time) fainted during a blood test. I saw it happening and said she's fainting but they said to hang on, they needed a bit more. She slid right to the floor and we caught her on the way down.

When she came to the first words out of her mouth were "Is my cell phone okay?"

I have fainted an incredibly embarrassing number of times. But in medical settings, only twice:

I had surgery on my toe... read a Babysitters Club book the whole time and inexplicably passed out *after* the procedure. ???Still remember the smelling salts.

Almost passed out when I had a skin biopsy, at almost 40. Again, I've had 3 drug-free births, so no clue what was up with that.
