I got one at Walmart, Equate brand. Want to say about $35, with a nice case. Get's used a lot. We recently drove from sea level to 9'600 ft in likr 2 hours. My o2 dropped to 75, even with boost oxygen could only get 86 so we headed down after like 20 min looking at the aspens change color. About 7,000 ft I came back to 95. But I was flirting with altitude sickness had we stayed much longer. Glad I brought the oxymeter!

Some studies have shown that regular over-the-counter ibuprofen is as effective as Rx medicines for preventing altitude sickness and with fewer side effects: https://healthland.time.com/2012/03/...tude-sickness/

We have the ReliOn C-29 pictured below:

It seems to be ok; however, I would like to buy another one with a memory function. Does anyone here have a pulse oximeter that stores readings?

I see a variety of pulse ox meters with memory functions online, but would like to have some feedback from members, if possible.

We bought one from Amazon back in March while they were still cheap and easy to find. We use it when we are feeling ill to make sure our oxygen levels are ok.

Mine's been working for many years. Long enough to experiment with it.

Run 100 yard dash with it on. See how you recover. (Ok, jog then!)

Wear it while riding a motorcycle. (In case you don't know, motorcycling can "ram feed" oxygen to you.)

Use it while hiking. (More for BPM.)

Lots of ways to use one.

Develop a base line, and look for changes to that baseline.

It's a tool, use it.
