Anyone use a personal matching to help relieve pain and promote healing?
Have small rotator cuff tear and other shoulder issues from fall in early Oct
PT has created some issues and loss of range o motion and more pain
Had to stop a couple of exercises but read about these alternate forms of treatment
Anyone have their own—
What brands are best option for price?
I sold TENS (Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation) units for 20 plus years and never heard them called machines
When they work , they work very well for pain relief. They do not work for everyone.

Do they work on pain from a shattered elbow? Surgery was 9 weeks ago and going through pt is brutal.

Like I said, when they work, they work well. They are cheap enough now. Go to any health care products store and buy one and try. They can show you how to use it

Have you contacted your orthopedic doctor about the problems that you're having with PT? Will they let you shoot them a message through the patient portal instead of going back in for an office visit?

Why is that a head slap? OP doesn't sell them. Why not just correct her?

Yea and he said that a TENS pack could provide relief as well as BFST but he didn’t recommend any brand (he also supported having acupuncture/deep tissue massage and other options)
And I have read reviews and articles
I know there is not lot of research by therapists to support TENS or BFST as making a big difference because there are other factors, including the state of the individual using them, that are taken into account
But like some said—they are not that expensive
And if it helps manage pain for doing PT to help recover from injury then I am all for it
My daughter used something like a TENS when she played volleyball and softball in high school and had sprains and strains—-she thought it was helpful
