There was a documentary on TV recently about gettysburg that started off with a statement that in 1861 THIRTEEN southern states broke away and formed the Confederacy. That was as far as I got.
This just shows how impatience gets in the way of learning. Had you stuck with the program you would have discovered the secret membership in the Confederacy of Cuba and Belize, kept clandestine so that they might serve as hidden weapons should the need arise.
You probably didn't know that Hood actually killed everyone in his force with his futile battles at Franklin and Nashville, and that the reconstituted Army of Tennessee which turned up in the Carolinas to face Sherman was in fact composed entirely of Cubans and Belizians.

I'm pretty sure the slave owners were just plain ol' Christians, mainly of the Anglican/Episcopal or Baptist persuasions.

Wow, it's amazing what you can learn from the TV, perhaps when they make a documentary out of your book it will explain the Dust Cover OR perhaps it was a counerfeit dust cover meant to confuse the buyers
