I used to live near this big estabilishment where many people from the area worked..I visited once and that was enough, I dont think I had the courage to work there , very sad place, and seen in this video in diffrent ways from the nursing staff who were there and the patients themselves.... Now some is abandoned and some parts are housing.. but who would want to live there...It lasted exactly 100 years before closure..... before it closed one of the inmates was given a flat next door to me.. the poor woman had been institutionalised for over 20 years and in her 60s and hadnt a clue how to manage, she relied heavily on me for all kinds of things which wasnt fair on me or my family... they claim on this film that the patients who were to go out into the public sector were taught how to handle money etc.... this woman was put out and forgotten so that wasnt true........
