If you know who Alexander Hamilton is (alive in the 1700s) he had triplets in his family.
Catherine Van Rensselaer, his mother in law a set of twins whom survived and later on a set of triplets who died and were never named. She was a very fertile gal as she also had 10 other single births. Also she was in her late 40s when she had her last child so she was beating the odds all around. Twins back then were dangerous and many mothers died having them and died from being too old and weak just in their late 30s having kids but this mama survived twins, triplets, and old age births!
