Eras of History

I would divide them like this:

Antiquity: 3500 BC (at latest) to 400 AD
Dark Ages: 400 AD to 900 AD
Middle Ages: 900 AD to 1400 AD
Late Middle Ages/early Modern: 1400 AD to 1600 AD
Colonial: 1600 AD to 1860 AD
Industrial: 1860 AD to 1920 AD
Early Modern: 1920 AD to 1945 AD
Cold War: 1946 AD to 1990 AD
Post-Cold War: 1991 AD to 2001 AD
Post-Modern: 2001 AD - present

[Six Foot Three]

I would add the Migration Era or Barbarian Invasion Era from around the 250 AD Franks as being the first to around the 750 AD the Lombards as being the last.

Anyway that's my favorite era in history.
