My biggest "hobby" is volunteering in a specific underserved population. As a result, I get invited to speak at or attend conferences and retreats all over the country. In some cases, they pay me to come out. In others, I'm able to snag a paid-for room and just have to pay for my flight.
Maybe OP wants to know about hobbies that pay their own way and pay for travel? Not a lot of hobbies provide an income. Maybe they are no longer hobbies if they are income producing?
To that point, I "hobbied" in guitar.
Now I play in a band that gigs and we've traveled to surrounding towns, been paid (money and drinks), and even played at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas.
