Padgett that has been a problem with many of the makers of cabinets that are not sewing only suppliers. It looks great until you need to sit and sew and find yourself scrunched up against one side of the cabinet. Even the purpose built ones do not have the needle centered, usually it is still machine centered but the space to the left is larger.
The most commonly advertised cabinets come from Horn and Koala, but there are actually quite few manufacturers out there. I've gotten used to sewing on counters, desks and secretarial extensions because I have several different machines (sewing, sewing and embroidery and serger) and have taken classes or given them in a variety of places. After a while you don't "need" one set up in a special cabinet. The expense alone is enough for me to think I don't need it. I'd rather spend my $$ on fabric and thread. I would hesitate to get the one from Walmart (sorry world citizen) simply because it not only does not have the cut out but it looks like the machine would end up as high or higher than on a plain desk.
Not sure what would be construed as advertising here... but will include a few links to help you see what is out there. If these get cut then just use Goggle to look up "sewing machine cabinets" and most should show up.

I've heard mostly good things about allbrands (the first link) for both sewing machines and sewing supplies so if you need to order something they are a possibility. They have the single biggest selection of furniture for sewing in one place.
I highly recommend you try and find a local dealer for either Horn or Koala so you can actually see the cabinet. Many sewing machine shops will have samples of at least one manufacturer.
