We love geocaching - we always have bags of goodies in our cars, in case we get a change to go caching. We've even discussed starting our own cache!

A few summers ago my dh and I, along with my teenage dd and young son did a lot of geo-caching. I can't figure out how to use our GPS though, and can only go with dh. He just hasn't had the time/interest since then. The kids and I are considering trying letterboxing instead, which uses clues.

You just have to go letterboxing. There are so many boxes in Connecticut.

We used to geocache all the time! However, we haven't done it in probably a good year. I don't know, just stopped for some reason (I think we quit when gas prices spiked). But it was always fun whether we just wanted to go around the city or we were out on hikes.

And we had to coolest geocache we made and it was just awesome (very camoflauged). After time it got old and brittle, then broke We took it down and never did fix it back up again. Can you say lazy?

Ps. I enjoyed how geocaching would always show us new parks or cool places to go that we never knew was there.
