All right Boys and Girls, it's april. And you know what that means! time to start up another exciting year of playoff hockey. I wish i could be as excited as i was two weeks ago when the Hurricanes pretty much had a lock on the SE division. But theyre out of it again and well, i lost most of my excitiment. Oh heck I lost all of it. But alas, before we know it 2009 will be here and hopefully for me they'll be back in it. You can bet though I'll be watching.
Anyway i hope youre still reading this cause here's how the matchups look right now.
From the East.
1. Montreal vs. Boston- Im sure 2004 comes to mind right now for plenty Bruins fans.
2. Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa- I think Pittsburgh should win in no less than five.
3. Washington vs. Philadelphia- Capitals are hot right now and I think it'll continue
4. New Jersey vs. New York Rangers- Didnt we see this 2 years ago?
From the West.
1. Detroit vs. Nashville- The red wings won the presidents trophy again. What else is new?
2. San Jose vs. Calgary- I got SJ winning in five
3. Minnesota vs. Colorado- I think Colorado will win
4. Anaheim vs. Dallas- I'll take the Stars in 7.
Okay, that's how it looks for 2008. I'll say San Jose beats either Pittsburgh or Washington in 6 to win the stanley cup right now.
All right now what are your thoughts right now on this post-season?

1. Montreal vs. Boston- Canadians 4-1
2. Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa- Penguins 4-3
3. Washington vs. Philadelphia- Caps 4-2
4. New Jersey vs. New York Rangers- Rangers 4-3
1. Detroit vs. Nashville- Wings 4-0
2. San Jose vs. Calgary- Sharks 4-2
3. Minnesota vs. Colorado- Wild 4-1
4. Anaheim vs. Dallas- Ducks 4-2
I could also see a Sharks/Capitals final with Sharks in 6, would be a fun one to watch, they're probably the two hottest teams right now. Heres to hoping my Wild do well though, I'm very confident they'll take care of Colorado at least. They beat us in a shootout today but that game meant a lot more to them than us, after all who wants to face the Sharks in the first round?
From the East.
1. Montreal vs. Boston- I really hope Boston can win this. They're my third favorite team, after the Lightning and the Islanders, so I hope they go all the way. I think they have a legitimate shot here. I just wish they had Bergeron and Savard. I guess I'll take Montreal 4-2.
2. Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa- Pittsburgh 4-2.
3. Washington vs. Philadelphia- Capitals 4-1.
4. New Jersey vs. New York Rangers- New Jersey 4-2.
From the West.
1. Detroit vs. Nashville- Detroit in 4
2. San Jose vs. Calgary- San Jose in 6
3. Minnesota vs. Colorado- Colorado in 7
4. Anaheim vs. Dallas- Dallas in 6.
Detroit vs. Pittsburgh in the Finals, with Pittsburgh the winner.
Im sort of hoping that Colorado and Detroit will meet up this year, see if there's still bad blood between the two.

I predicted the Sharks and Rangers before the season started, I still have a chance of being right.
If I can modify it though, I would say Sharks and Penguins, with the Sharks winning the cup.
