Mount right on the bottom of the socket, so they have about 2 inch hole in them and a plastic ring that spins up to hold it? I'm missing a shade on a 3 socket overhead lamp. I saw a very similar model at Home Depot, but none of their shade were the right size. It fits in with that dull aluminum finish they stock so nothing exotic. So it's a frosted shade 2 inch hole, about 10 inch wide at the big end. Anyone have any ideas where to find these? I'm estimating it was made around 2006. I've looked around online and can't seem to find it and they couldn't tell me where. Just seeing if anyone here has any ideas.

You will probably find that it is cheaper and easier to replace the fixture than to find a shade that will fit.

If you're that determined to find that shade try Ebay.

Can you post a picture of it? I'll help you look for it.

^^^^This. Everything is a throw away now. I accidentally broke the globe on one of our light fixtures in the closet. I went to Lowes, Home Depot, Menards....they all sold the globes but none of them fit. I couldnt believe it. So instead of spending more time and gas, I just picked up another fixture and had my husband install it. The replacement globes were around 10-11 dollars. I got a new fixture that actually was a lot nicer than what I had for 7 bucks.
