New apartment- Need help with living room! (colors, light, contemporary)

Hello all! I am moving out for the first time! I got an apartment and just bought a couch, but I'm at a loss on how to decorate the rest of the living room!
This is the couch:

The pillows aren't exactly my favorite, but they'll do for now. I can always change those and maybe get a fun accent chair (I love light blue/aqua!). My style is contemporary cottage, maybe even a little country. I was hoping for a white coffee table/end table. Do you think this will go? What are your thoughts? Of course, the apartment is plain with tan/off-white carpet and walls, but I hope that's neutral enough to not matter. I need help!

yes it will match. your sofa is neutral. you can pick up cheap throw pillows at ross or marshall's. keep an eye out at flea markets and craig's list you will find lots of goodies. have fun.

Fun, I love your color scheme. Good start. You can always sew up a cover for the pillows in the colors to match your future purchases.
