I didn't like avocado green (or harvest gold) so much, but coppertone rocked!

I'm designing my kitchen for cooking, not for looks or resale.
Finally ... a voice of kitchen reason. Thank you!

We remodeled our kitchen about 3 years ago or so, and went with the quartz countertops. we are very pleased. we also had the sink molded into the countertop, so there is not a lip etc. just one smooth service!

I love white marble counter tops and granite. We have granite counter tops right now. I have had no problems with the granite scratching or chipping. It's very easy to clean and easy to take care of. I'm not well educated on marble though (I just love the look) but I'm sure that marble is more delicate then granite.

There are so many wonderful choices these days for counter tops. Have fun choosing one!

I just put in Caesarstone counters (Savannah color) with stained maple cabinets. Very pleased with the results. Am glad I didn't go with a high contrast between the cabinet and counter colors, as my kitchen is fairly small, and this combination is restful on the eyes.

Well I was wondering this myself about the contrast between counters and cabinets. I was leaning to more of a contrast color, but sometimes I think that less of a contrast would be nice too. We have light maple and was thinking of a medium to dark brownish (silestone or zodiaq).
