I think he might have been referring to something all teenage boys (and men) do, as opposed to referencing illegal substances.

What's that have to do with what Jay implied? It was a JOKE about something every male teen does, even those who become West Point grads and football coaches.

I think QuilterChick knew what he meant, and she can't believe it's possible even though all boys/men do it.

As someone who used to date teenage boys back in the day ... I concur with their moms. LOL

Give a listen to a song by Meryn Cadell, called "The Sweater", which includes the observation:

The sweater has that slightly goat-like smell which all teenage boys possess

You don't know what odors or scents your own house holds sometimes. My parents would have sworn up and down that their house smelled clean as a whistle, when anyone else could smell dog urine when they walked in. By the way, my parents are very clean people - they didn't realize that their little dogs occasionally misbehaved. It was a very small amount but over time the smell magnified.

I was being a bit facetious with the thread title though.

I spray my ac vents with Lysol and also the unit itself with Lysol and every room and garbage can in the house get a good spray twice a week and I also make sure my microwave and my fridge get a good cleaning as well .Also steam clean the carpets twice a week with my own machine so I know which chemicals are in the water .

Wait. You spray Lysol in your house, and you're worried about the chemicals in your carpet cleaner?

Interesting. Now you have me wondering if that would work for the vents in the car.

Before any of you start using Lysol with abandon, please take the time to research its toxicity in humans. Skip eHow and go straight to the scholarly articles. It might make you reconsider.
