Ok - I officially hate the new trend of a master bath with soaker tub and separate shower stall.

Agree or disagree?

Personally, I would rather have the square footage that one or the other takes up added to the master bedroom or master closet. Even if it isn't much space, I think having both is a waste of space.

Agree. So long as there is a regular bathtub in the bedroom level hall bathroom.

Yep... not a fan of two separate things to clean!

I don't have a true master bathroom. It's shared with two other bedrooms. I have a bath/shower combo. I've been in my house 16 years & I've never taken a bath. I would prefer to remove my bathtub and remodel with a large walk-in shower, not a stall shower. Those are too small. But most homebuyers want at least one bathtub to bathe children. I used mine for my dog.

I recently added a basement 3/4 bath. The shower is 3' W x 4' L. That's about the smallest shower I would want to use.

Had one in a previous house, never used the tub. Still had to wipe dust out of it on occasion. Would have preferred something bigger than a 32x32 shower stall instead. Now I have a 36 x 54 shower stall and no tub and am much happier despite a smaller bathroom. The other bathroom will keep its combo shower/tub.

I love having a large, nice shower. If there's also a tub in the bathroom, I'll deal with it, but a combo is unacceptable for me. As it happens, in my new construction home, I got a shower in lieu of a tub, which is fine with me as I consider the tub a waste of space, but I would never give up my beautiful shower in exchange for a tub with a showerhead in it.

My new home has a soaker tub and separate shower. I would prefer to have a large shower with a body wash set up, but taking out the tub would be an extra expense now. I will tell you that having broken my leg and then later my ankle it is a real PITA getting in and out of the tub when you can't put your weight on one of your legs. For my "age in place" home a separate shower makes sense.

Large curbless shower is my preference.

I have a 36" soaking tub with 32" shower stall. Planning to get rid of the tub when I remodel later this year. Probably going to end up putting a 2nd vanity in place of the tub and have a 60" shower stall instead.
