This is what I did when my door swelled. Rubber mallet ($7.00 at HD), towel, tapped (moderately banged) along the edge of the jam.
Whole lot less costly than having the guy come out and unjam it for you!
Good luck!
Sounds like a good investment. My cell phone broke Thursday, my vacuum broke this week, now the door is stuck...how do inanimate objects KNOW my tax refund was deposited???

HA! This is one of those rare cathartic moments! Can't fix the phone or the vacuum but you can "fix" the door with a few whacks of a mallet!
I live in a condo. There is a separate entrance from my front porch into a storage room that also contains my furnace and water heater.
I just went to get my cat carrier out of the storage room, and I can't open the door. It pushes out at the bottom and the middle past the hardware for the lock/doorknob, so it's not that it's locked. It's just STUCK at the top of the door somehow. I am not sure what to do. I pounded it a couple of times and kicked it once, but I don't really want to break the door.
It's been a colder-than-usual winter here, and my front porch and the entrance doors are on the north side and rarely get light. Is it possible that either the hinges or the jamb or the top of the door are somehow frozen? The inside of the storage room is heated. though.
I am going to wait till tomorrow when it's supposed to go up to 40 and see if I can open it, otherwise I will have to call someone.

OP stated that the door would move an inch or so at the middle and bottom, but not at the top. Sounds to me like the push/pull question is irrelevant in this case.
This door that moves at the bottom and middle and sticking on top may be from frost heaving. If this is the case you may observe an area of the slab has been pushed up. The suggested 'tapping with a mallet' might work but getting it closed again might be the next issue. Spring should fix this issue. Use the savings from not going to the vet to buy the new extension cord. Are there any windows to crawl thru for access? If so have someone film you and post here........

Hahaha, but there are no savings from the vet because I was going for the annual FREE rabies shots that the town gives. Now I have to go somewhere else and pay. So, this door is costing me money!
No other access so no fun pictures for you!!!
