Anything that you haven't used for two years should be sold on craigslist or be thrown into the trash can. Believe me, you won't miss them.

I was cleaning out my purse and came across a key that I haven't used in forever. I threw it away thinking it was the MIL's old house key (we replaced her locks recently). It was OUR house key! Since hubby works from home and when we leave the house we always go out the garage door into the garage... I never used my key!

We only lock the house door, to the garage, when we go on a trip or are away for any extended time. If I go by myself, hubby is always home anyway.

Now we have to replace the key before we leave this rental. So, even if you don't use something for a few years... make sure it is something that you REALLY are not going to need!

ROFLMAO!

That would be hard... I've stopped registering some of my Antique Cars but I would miss them if they were gone.

So far they have done well as investments... don't have much in most of them so not much downside.

How about the messiest house I've ever been in. Its a better story.

There was the one where I went to interpret a psychological examination for the child in school. They had thrown all their dirty diapers on on the front lawn. The pile was about 10 feet wide and about 4 feet high. Luckily it was winter. God only knows what they smell like in the summer.

I did get out of the place as fast as I could. I had taken an administrator with me.

But another time came which caused me to never visit a home again by myself---that was "dirty" in another way altogether.

The mother came to the door. Shewas dressed in the smallest bikini I had ever seen on a real human being(this was before the internet). And.... she had a figure similar to the comic cartoon "Little Annie Fanny" at the back of Playboy magazine. She saw no reason to cover up or put on a robe, and I was afraid to ask.

I never made a home visit again without taking another employee with me.
