The estimated damage is right at my deductible so the home insurance company would not be much help in this case. Just had the electrician out and he said house circuitry is ok. Thank Goodness! Poor electrician was literally going door-to-door as everyone was grabbing him to check their house.

Got letter from my power provider with a copy of the rules but I'm going to contact the State PUC on Monday to check about their interpretation.

I'm glad to hear the damage is not extensive or costly...

Good move on your part having it professionally checked out... too!
