Hi: Recently moved to Midtown from Katy and absolutely love it. Kind of a silly question, but wondering if anyone knows of a relatively decent/inexpensive dry cleaner in the area. I used to get coupons from a grocery store for a place in Katy that did slacks for $1.49 and shirts for $0.99. There are a few places within walking distance of where I live now, but my weekly dry cleaning bill has jumped up significantly. Thanks.

Depends what you mean by cheap- there's a place on Taft/WGray that looks cheap to me.

I went to the one next to Buffalo Wild Wings and thought she was a little expensive. The one Grunn suggests is relatively new, another a couple blocks west, proximate to PJs and Cecils, but I've never used. I now go to the place in the strip mall on Studemont at Washington.

I can't think of the name of it but there is a great one west gray in the strip center with Pink's Pizza - between Taft and Montrose. Also, always feel pretty safe there -- all the HPD guys go there.
