My Dyson is making loud noises when the brushes are spinning. I was wondering if there is any Dyson repair shop in the North West side of Houston OR should I just look for a vacuum repair shop in general?

Seriously, call Dyson and they will refer you to an authorized repair facility. You'll give them your address and they'll tell you the closest place to your home.

Plus, if your vacuum is under 5 years old, it's still under warranty and it'll be fixed under warranty.

I had to have my Dyson serviced about six months ago and I took it to Mars Discount Vacuums in Sugar Land. By the time I walked through the door, they had already been faxed by Dyson and told to expect my vacuum. The only thing that was bad - waiting for it. I think they had it close to two months and the hold up wasn't on Mars Discount Vacuum's end. They warned me outright that Dyson is famous for long delays in shipping parts. But I've had it back awhile now and it works better than new. Much quieter now as well!

@Bozydeaux,

Thanks for the reply! 2 months without a vacuum YIKES!!

I am not under warranty! Anyway, I called Dyson and they told me couple of locations for service but all locations are like 50 miles away from my house. I was wondering if some normal vacuum shop would be able to repair this or not. I guess I have to travel those miles to get it fixed.

Thanks,
Azam

Wow, 50 miles away? I know they gave me a location in Bellaire and another in Sugar Land. While Sugar Land was farther for me, I knew exactly where it was and it gave me an excuse to visit friends in that area.

Yeah, 2 months without a vacuum. I was very thankful I hadn't gotten rid of my old Hoover. It came in very handy during those two months.

Maybe look in the yellow pages under vacuum repair? Usually the ads will say who they will repair?

@Bozydeaux,

Thanks found one located in Katy! Still a long drive but I am willing to drive for Dyson Vacuum. If the repairs are expensive then I will probably buy a different vacuum.
