It all depends on how you define summer. And you can sweat in a New Hampshire winter if you work hard enough. But I would agree with the OP in calling it a summer. There will surely be hot days ahead but the brutality of 24 hour heat that makes the AC run all night and drenches you in sweat just walking to the curb for the paper at 6am is over. We are now entering what I call New England summer.

when I woke up this morning it was 61 degrees here near the med center. This is such Lovely weather. hmmmm I thought people say we have 8 months of summer here (march to november)

It seemed like it was nice up into may, and it is already cool again in september.

Awesome weather we're having. I didn't even sweat after standing outside for a minute! I hope it gets a bit chillier like, say, in the low 50s?

PERFECT weather with beautiful blue, sunny skies! Took the kids for a walk & spent a good amount of time at the park. This great weather makes me happy & energetic again. A couple of months of this & I'll be ready for whatever Houston winter we get this year.
