I have to take DH to the Jersey Village area Friday morning. Location is around N. Eldridge Pkwy.

I am not familiar at all with that area.

Does anyone have any recommendations of some place where I can take a couple of toddlers for a couple of hours?

I see that Memorial City Mall is about 11 miles/18 min away so I will probably default to that if nothing else is suitable.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Willowbrook Mall is closer than Memorial City to Jersey Village. You meant to pass the time while hubby is busy, right?

Yes, but bear creek park is South Eldridge and its not really close to N. Eldridge and 290 area. Willowbrook mall is probably your best bet....they have a children's play area near Sears. There's also a chuck e cheese in front of willowbrook mall on the 249 feeder that opens at 9am. you can just buy some tokens and have the kids play for a while.

That cool front is not in yet, Oildog. She and the kids would pass out in 2 hours. I would have to go get them.

Near willowbrook mall, there are some movie theatres including Movie Tavern and AMC and some family fun places like It'Z iT'Z USA - Pizza Buffet, Indoor Amusement Park, Video Games Mountasia Mountasia and Chuck-E-Cheese.

I have a ton of CEC coins left-over from their 2nd birthday earlier this year (thanks to my brother) so that's a possibility.

Cheryljohns' popsicles & a margarita for me are tempting though....hmmm...should I risk heat exhaustion?
