I am looking for suggestions for Montessori schools in Sugar Land for my child(3-5 years). Can you please provide your feedback? How are Riverbend and Cambridge schools? Any feedback on Parkway school in New Territory.

My younger son goes to Cambridge Montessori - a little on the expensive side with $$ for uniforms and supply fees ($140 per semester!!) but he's making good progress so i am not complaining.

We were not impressed with Montessori... We took our son to Honor Roll school 4111 Sweetwater Boulevard, Sugar Land for two years before going to public at Commonwealth Elementary School

The rigor and discipline they had at Honor Roll school is now paying off. My son not only that he is meeting all his expectations in all tests, but he is exceeding for 60% of the testing areas. The foundation he built with the Honor Roll school was tremendous. Now looking back when we had him in Montessori for a year, Montessori is amateurish comparing with the Honor Roll school
Just my experience and opinion. Others may be different.

I guess each child is special... and so are each set of parents. For some Montessori works well and for others private schools and for some (I have friends) - the public school kindergarten works magic compared to any private school that their child has ever attended. I still believe that the best school is where the child is the happiest... learning is secondary and goes on for life.... we, as parents, have too many expectations from our kids.
