There's a policeman in our neighborhood who was a marine sniper for several tours. I recently saw somebody driving a white pickup that had a sticker which said, "God bless the marines; especially for snipers" (paraphrased)

Back up a sec, closing Gitmo does not equal letting all of the captives go and no longer pursuing intelligence from said captives. A lot of people played a role in this, for a number of years. At the end of the day though, he is the Commander-in-chief and gave the ultimate go-ahead... for that he should be given credit.

I think there's more to the mission than just putting a bullet in his head. Hell anybody can pull a triger, thats the easy part. Most people don't have the stones to do what these guys attempted to do. That's why their called
special forces. They do the most dangerous work, and get the lest amount of credit. So I think they deserve the accolades their getting.
