October usually offers some minor relief, but I've found November to be the only reliable start to steady and more decent temps (70s or less).

LOL! The one time my wife got to go to her parents' house for their annual family carriage ride through the neighborhood...then it's freezing as heck! Any other time...bad hair day.

You want real Texas cold? Come up and see us here in Dallas. Or, better yet, go farther north and west of here...yikes!

(All of which is still a cake walk to like...Minnesota...)

Not sure but I would love that type of weather. Here in New England we only have a couple months of really nice weather... then it's back to coat, boots and please don't for stalled cars!.

Yeah, I agree, if you're asking in mid-June then you're in for a real treat when July comes along!

Like others have said, you're going to be waiting til September at the very least until it becomes somewhat bearable, and temperatures don't average <80 until November...However, November (heck, even October) through April can be quite pleasant, especially after being fried all summer.STATS: http://www.weather.com/weather/wxcli...ly/graph/77002

My boyfriend is from coastal California and he gets sick here in Boston when the weather is over 90 (which is why my trip to Houston is planned for October), so I know where you're coming from.

Good luck!

We went to Houston the weekend of the 11th...when we got back to Dallas, it was like some balmy, fresh weather.

That feeling didn't last.

Ha-ha... that's right! We're still in the 70's at night.

You should change your body clock and sleep during the day and stay up & live at night
