I bought a large apothecary jar and would like to fill it with some 4" - 5" natural sea sponges. Does anyone know of a Houston store that sells these sponges?

Probably China town, where you can get any other weird creatures. But why not order online from Amazon or the like?

Central Market, Whole Foods, stores that carry spa supply, Sally's, Sephora, Bed Bath and Beyond, maybe even CVS.

You can even get them at hardware stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc.) in the paint isle. It is also used to create paint texture.

Or if you want to pay 5 times the price, go to Pottery Barn. They are all about aquatic themes this season.

I'd go to Home Depot.

Thanks to everyone who responded but I found a place in Florida that had some great ones for a very reasonable price and they are on their way as we speak.
