Ninfa's on Navigation would be my recommendation (not a part of the Ninfa's chain). don't know what a veggie could get there besides just a lot of cheese though

The Grove with Vegetarians that eat fish.

Azuma DOWNTOWN
Vegans drive me wild...I have no response to those requests....I've never been on the end of the deal that requires me to make them happy.

Most places will serve a salad.

How near? I love Piola which is about 2 miles from Discovery Green - yes it's 'just' pizza but it's the best pizza I have had in Houston and it will satisfy the veggies and carnivores. The Copenhagen (Brie and Smoked Salmon) is my favourite. It's also a trendy little place.

Plus not expensive!!

Vic & Anthony's is a no go for vegetarians. It's a steak house. We vegetarians like more than a salad or sides as our main meal!

If you don't mind a bit of a walk, I recommend three places on Main St that could be a good option for you: Mia Bella (Italian), Bombay Pizza (Indian/Italian/American combo) and the Flying Saucer (beer joint, but has a good menu with plenty of options for everyone). Bombay Pizza and the Flying Saucer are pretty casual; Mia Bella is a little bit more upscale. Prices are reasonable at all three.

And oh, I second the recommendation for Piola's, but it's in Midtown, kinda of a hike if you're wanting to stay near Discovery Green.
