Of course it isn't. It happened at a Katy I.S.D. school.

It is being swept under the rug as quickly as possible.

A couple of kids fighting in the hall is hardly sound for alarm.
Hell, when I was in school there was damn near a fight everyday in the halls, lunchroom and school bus.
Like I said, non-story.

The coach took the boys to the gym, put boxing gloves on them and they duked it out. They usually were friends after that.

I'm pretty sure an Aldi store will soothe these savage kids.

Hilarious,
when has a riot ever started in a High School?

FYI, fights have been happening in High Schools ever since the 1st High School was built.

Exactly.
Now if the story was that a kid had a gun pulled on him, maybe THAT would be cause for alarm.

It was actually a bigger problem than you think, The main issue here is that you had a student(girl) hit a staff member several times and nothing ever was done to discipline the girl. KISD police reviewed the film and verified that the the staff member never hit the student back, so he just got moved to another school. The sad thing about this mess was that the Principal seem to be more worried about taking his wife out to Vegas that weekend lol.
