After living in an apartment in Katy during our first year here, my wife and I are most likely going to be purchasing a home at the end of our lease (ends on Nov 3). I'm working on getting pre-approved for our new mortgage, but in the mean time I'm also looking for a recommendation for a good buyer's agent. We loved our Realtor when we sold our home in AZ, so we definitely know the value of a good Realtor during this process. It's just too bad we can't use her again!

Anyway, does anyone have a Realtor recommendation for us? We're in Cinco Ranch right now, but we've been looking in Katy nearly all over the place - from here in this neck of the woods all the way up to W Little York and Greenhouse. For now, we've just been driving around neighborhoods, giving them the smell-test, and window-shopping the HAR listings. However, the closer it gets to lease-ending time, the more serious we're going to be getting.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Eric

Look to www.HAR.com for guidance. HAR sends out a survey after each closing on MLS, to get feedback from the buyers and sellers. Check out any potential realtor to get a feel for them.

Well, Cheryl Johns is a great buyer's agent and helped us immeasurably in the areas that you seek...and she knows others that you might not have considered.

We are happy with our home and area bc of her!

I second this. Cheryl helped us find a house in Cinco. Her help was invaluable.
