As you know, brokers push investors to buy their products. CFP are supposed to have a "fiduciary duty" and represent your interest, However they work you the other way: they try to get you into an "active management" of your portfolio, in other words they try to speculate/risk with your money and at your expense. But historically, indexes performed better than "active management". in writing .
